If you love compliments, these are the earrings for you! Featuring a unique combination of techniques, these distinctive earrings showcase a sparkling display of woven metal under glass which creates an almost kaleidoscopic effect when you move. The silver wires woven together behind the glass create the kind of brilliance normally associated with diamonds. The pyramid shape of the glass also subtly distorts the look of the underlying woven metal, which makes them guaranteed attention-getters.

To create these earrings, first I weave sheets of fabric from both rose and yellow 14K gold filled wire using a medieval finger weaving technique. Then, I cut this woven metal fabric into smaller pieces to embed behind the shaped glass. The different shapes of glass both magnify the weave, giving it more definition, as well as collect the light, making the entire piece glisten. Enjoy!

Each earring comes with complimentary rubber stops.

• Earrings are packaged with an anti-tarnish tab in a gift box with anti-tarnish filler, which makes for easy gifting and storage.

• Earring Size: Earring is 7/8 of an inch long (measured from the ball on the earwire) and 5/8 of an inch wide.

• Earring Weight: Each earring weighs just .08 of an ounce - exactly the weight of a dime.

All materials are nickel free!

Gold: I'm using both yellow and rose 14K gold fill in my designs. Gold fill is 1/20th gold by weight, so it's a good compromise in quality and price between 14K gold and gold plate.
